Election InformationPetitions are now available for anyone wishing to run for a position on the Township Board of Trustees. All Township positions are elected every four years on the same schedule as the President. This year we will be adding two Trustees to the Board, as voted on in 2006. The offices to be filled are: Township Supervisor Township Treasurer Township Clerk Township Trustee (4) Petitions must be filed with the Township Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 signatures are required. All candidates must file an “Affidavit of Identity” form when the petition is filed. Any candidate who has not previously run must also file a Statement of Organization and Campaign Statements with the county clerk’s office. |
